Are you looking for a fun way for your kids to work on developing their visual discrimination and fine motor skills? Then, you’ll want these free Farm Visual Discrimination Clip Cards! Matching the farm animal to its shadow and clipping a clothespin onto the card will help your children practice those skills and much more!
Farm Visual Discrimination Clip Cards:
When matching the animal to its shadow or finding the animal that matches the shadow, your kids are working on identifying the similarities and differences between the pictures. By doing this activity, they are developing their visual discrimination skills which are important when learning the ABC’s and practicing letter recognition.
By squeezing clothespins open and attaching them to the cards, your kids will be developing their fine motor skills, finger muscle strength, and hand and eye coordination. All of these developmental skills are so important for pre-readers and pre-writers!

How To Use The Farm Visual Discrimination Clip Cards:
There are two different sets of visual discrimination clip cards included in this printable. When using the first set, your kids will select a card and identify the animal on it. Next, they will look at the three boxes below the picture and fine the animal’s shadow. Your children will then clip a clothespin onto the shadow that matches the animal.
When using the second set of clip cards, your kids will pick a card and look at the shadow on it.
