If you want your kids to be able to check their answers, mark a dot or put a sticker on the back of the card where the clothespin will be after they clip it.
Next, laminate the cards so your kids can use them over and over. Then, cut the cards apart.
For even more fun, you can attach the fish to the side of the clothespins.
Then, you can store the cards and clothespins in a resealable plastic bag or pencil pouch for an easy on-the-go, no-prep activity.
How To Use The Fishing Letter Clip Cards:
For this letter recognition activity, your preschoolers will pick a card and identify the letter at the top.
They will then find the matching letter and clip a clothespin on it.
If you marked the answer on the back of the card, your kids can flip it over and check to see if they clipped the correct letter.
If your pre-readers have just begun learning the ABC’s, have them start with just a few cards and then add more as their letter knowledge increases.
These Fishing Alphabet Clip Cards are a fun, hands-on way for preschoolers to work on letter recognition and their fine motor skills.
