- Laminator
- Laminating Sheets
- Scissors

To get this letter activity ready for your students, fill out the form below. Then, download and print the cards.
Next, laminate the cards so your kids can use this resource over and over. Then, cut the cards apart and punch holes on all of the black dots.
If your pre-readers have just begun learning the ABC’s, you may want to sort the cards into groups and start with just a few cards. You can then add more as their letter knowledge increases.
Finally, you can store the cards and links in a small box or bag for a no-prep, on-the-go activity.
How To Use The Ice Cream Letter Recognition Activity:
To begin this alphabet activity, your students will pick a capital letter card and identify the capital letter on it.
Next, they will sort through the cards to find the matching lowercase letter.
Your preschoolers and kindergarteners will then connect the two cards together using the links.
Your kids will continue sorting, matching, and connecting the letter cards until they have found all of the capital and lowercase letter pairs.
