This free printable book includes a total of 6 pages (3 pages to print) including the cover. There is also 1 sheet with the words.
What Else Is Needed:
To get this reading activity ready for your kids, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Next, download and print the reproducible book. You can then make as many copies as you need for your students.
Next, cut the pages apart and stack them together in order. Finally, staple the pages of the book together.
How To Use The My Five Senses Printable Book:
When first introducing the book to your kids, you can show them the picture clues and ask them what they think it’s going to be about.
You can also have them point out the title of the story.
Next, your beginning reader will turn to a page in their book and read the repetitive text: “With my eyes, ears, nose, mouth, or hands, I….”
You can read the book together or have them read it independently depending on their reading skills.
Then, your young learners will cut and paste the name of the sense on the page to match the picture. They will then color the picture of the person.
To complete the book, your kids will continue to match the sense with the pictures. They can color the pictures too.
After finishing their books, you can send them home with your students, so they can read it with their families for even more practice.
