  • White and Blue Card Stock
  • Scissors
  • Snowflake Hole Punch
  • Glue

How To Make The W Is For Winter Craft:

To begin making this letter W winter craft, your preschoolers will cut out the letter W. If they are just learning how to cut, you may want to have extra copies of the template. 

 

Learning the ABC's

 

Next, your children will use the snowflake hole punch to punch holes in white or blue card stock or construction paper.

 

If you don’t have a snowflake hole punch, your kids can use paint, crayons, or cut paper to create snowflakes. They can also use a circle hole punch to create snowballs.

 

Letter Craft

 

After creating a lot of snowflakes, your pre-readers will glue them onto their letter W. After the glue dries, you can hang their letter crafts around the room for a fun winter decoration!
