  • Scissors
  • Cardboard Box

Next, cut out the letter J and place it into a cardboard box such as a shirt box. You may want to tape it down to hold it in place too. Finally, pour red and green paint on a plate or paint tray.

How To Make The Letter J Jingle Bells Craft:

To begin making this letter craft, your preschoolers will dip the jingle bells into red or green paint and place them inside of the cardboard box. Next, your kids will put the top on the box.

Letter Recognition Activity

After putting all of the jingle bells in the box, the fun begins! Your kids will rattle and shake the box all around. They will listen to the jingle bells ring as they paint their letter J.

Sensory Activity

Next, your kids will remove the top of the box and take the jingle bells out. (You may want to wash them with soap and water right away before the paint has a chance to dry.)

Sensory Painting

After the paint dries on your students’ letter J paintings, you can hang their process art creations in the hallway for the whole school to see.
