letter recognition activity

One of the first steps in learning to read is letter recognition, which is the ability to identify individual letters by their name and shape.

It’s also important for kids to understand their corresponding sounds. This skill lays the foundation for being able to sound out words.

Through repeated exposure to letters and sounds, young children develop the pre-reading skills that are essential for future success in reading.
