If you are looking for a fun way for your kids to practice their visual discrimination and fine motor skills this summer, try these Ocean Visual Discrimination Clip Cards!
Ocean Visual Discrimination Clip Cards:
As your kids match the animal to the shadow or the shadow to the animal, they are identifying the similarities and differences between the pictures.
This is a great way for your children to develop their visual discrimination skills. These skills are important when learning the ABC’s and practicing letter recognition.
As your kids squeeze the clothespins open and attach them to the cards, your kids will also be developing important pre-reading and pre-writing skills including their fine motor skills, finger muscle strength, hand and eye coordination, and more.

How To Use The Ocean Visual Discrimination Clip Cards:
This visual discrimination activity includes two different sets of clip cards. When using the first set, your kids will select a card and identify the animal on it.
Next, they will look at the three boxes below the picture and fine the animal’s shadow. Your children will then clip a clothespin onto the shadow that matches the animal.
When using the second set of clip cards, your kids will pick a card and look at the shadow on it. Next, they will look at the three boxes below the shadow and identify which animal matches that shadow.
Your children will then clip a clothespin onto the animal. The two sets of clip cards not only lets you differentiate but it also helps your kids practice these skills in different ways.
These Ocean Visual Discrimination Clip Cards are a fun, hands-on way for your kids to develop their visual discrimination and fine motor skills.
