How To Use The Turkey Beginning Sounds Activity:
For this phonics activity, your children will pick a turkey and identify the capital and lowercase letter on it. They will also say the sound that letter makes.
Next, they will sort through the feathers to find the five with pictures that begin with that sound.
Your kids will then put the yellow, orange, red, green, and blue feathers around the turkey.
If your children are just learning the letter sounds, you can start with just a few turkeys. You can then add more every time they play to increase their knowledge and confidence.
Your beginning readers will have fun learning the sounds that the letters make with this Thanksgiving-themed Turkey Beginning Sounds Activity.
